Open your STL, turn it in 3D and check its weight

See your design in white, yellow or rose metal and get an estimated weight in gold, silver or platinum. Your file stays on your device.

Works with STL files in millimetres (you can switch to centimetres or inches). The weight is only reliable for a closed, watertight model; we tell you if the file is not closed.

Questions

Pricing questions

What do you need from me to start?

A brief, sketch, photo, reference piece or existing CAD file, plus any sizes, stone details and the metal you plan to use. If something is missing, we will ask before we start.

Can you print from my own CAD file?

Yes. A wax print from your own file starts from £20. We check the file before printing.

Which waxes can you print in?

We print in casting wax, hard wax and High Temp Wax. Tell us how the model will be used and we will confirm the right option.

Is the price fixed?

The prices shown are starting prices. The final price depends on the design and is agreed with you before any work starts.

Do prices include VAT?

No. The prices shown are before VAT. VAT is added at the standard rate (20%), and the price estimator shows the total including VAT.

When is the wax printed?

Only after you have approved the CAD model, when a print is part of the agreed work.

I am already a customer. Where do I send new work?

Email us or send a message on WhatsApp. Access to the ZCAD app is by invitation: request access and we will set you up.

Want a price for a specific job?

Describe the job and we will confirm the price before any work starts. We will tell you how to send any files.
