A render helps your customer, colleagues or buyers understand a design clearly before it goes into production. We prepare the images from the approved CAD model, so they are based on the design you are making.
Tell us who will see the images and how they will be used, so we can agree the views, metal and stone appearance before we start.
What to include in a rendering brief
- The model. The approved CAD model, or the ZCAD project it belongs to.
- Materials. The metal colour and stone appearance you want shown.
- Views and use. The views you need and where the images will be used.
- Style. Any reference images for the presentation style.
If the design still needs changes, start with a CAD amendment so the renders show the final model.
Renders and the finished piece
A render is a visual presentation of the CAD model. The finished piece also depends on the materials, casting, setting and finishing, so use renders alongside the CAD dimensions and your brief when making production decisions.
How are renders priced?
Renders are priced by the agreed scope. Send us the model and your requirements and we will confirm the work and the price before we start.
If you also need CAD design or a wax print, include it in the same enquiry and we will plan the order of work with you.
