About ZCAD
A jewellery CAD studio in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter
ZCAD Ltd works with jewellery businesses on CAD design, CAD amendments, realistic renders and 3D printing. Our focus is practical production support: CAD that suits the way pieces are cast, set and finished.
What we do
We prepare new jewellery CAD from briefs, sketches and references, and amend existing files when a size, setting or detail needs to change. We can produce realistic renders for approval or presentation, and print wax models from approved files.
Most of our customers are in the trade: jewellers, retailers, workshops, manufacturers, independent designers and small brands who need reliable CAD support alongside their own bench work.

We are based in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, among the workshops, casters, setters and suppliers that make up one of the UK's best-known jewellery districts. See our contact page for how to reach us.
How we work
- We check before we start. We review the brief or file and ask about anything that is unclear, so the CAD matches what you need.
- You approve the CAD. Nothing is printed until you have approved the model.
- We think about production. We prepare files with casting, setting and finishing in mind.
- We keep you informed. You know what we are working on and what we need from you.
