Jewellery CAD amendments
Change an existing jewellery CAD model without starting again. We review your file, agree the changes and the price with you, then make the amendment.
Typical CAD amendments
Amendments cover changes such as a different size, a new setting, an updated stone layout or a refined detail on an existing model.
What is practical depends on the file and the change, so we review both before confirming the work. If the change is closer to a new design, we will tell you and suggest the right scope.
How to brief an amendment
Give us a clear note of what should change and what must stay as it is. Marked-up screenshots or reference images help us see exactly which areas to work on. When we reply, we will confirm the best way to send the existing CAD file.
For size or stone changes, include the new measurements. If the model has already been approved or used in production, let us know so we can take that into account.
Check the revised model
We share the amended model for your approval. Check the new sizes and layouts against your brief, and make sure the details you wanted to keep are unchanged.
A wax print or renders can follow once you have approved the amendment. Include them in your enquiry if you need them.
How much do CAD amendments cost?
Our pricing page shows the current amendment pricing. We confirm the exact price after reviewing your file and the changes needed, before any work starts.
Tell us your deadline when you enquire and we will let you know what is realistic.
Tell us what needs to change
Tell us about the piece and what you already have. We will reply with what is needed, how we would approach it and the best way to send any files.
